For law, consulting & accounting firms
The review work is the billable bottleneck. Let an agent take the first pass.
Nexus Agents builds and operates AI review agents inside your firm's existing workflow — NDAs and MSAs, client and competitor research, tax research memos. Your professionals keep the judgement and the signature. The reading, the extracting and the first draft come back in minutes instead of a billable afternoon.
Built on your documents, in your environment. No client data used for model training.
Contract review
First pass in minutes, not hours
Commercial model
Fixed scope, fixed monthly fee

Human sign-off on every output
The problem
Your most expensive people are doing the least valuable reading.
In professional firms the same pattern repeats: a senior fee-earner opens a 40-page document, reads it end to end, and produces a summary someone else could have produced. It is necessary work. It is also the work that eats the day.
Contract review is a queue, not a skill
A junior reads the NDA, flags the unusual clause, writes the summary, and waits for a partner to confirm. Three people touched work a checklist could have started.
Pitch prep restarts from zero every time
Before a first meeting someone rebuilds the same client picture — recent news, org, prior work, competitor angle — from four tabs and a search engine.
Research memos are rewritten, not reused
The same tax question is researched again by the next person because the last memo is buried in a folder nobody can search.
The agents
Three agents. Each one owns a workflow end to end.
We deploy one agent at a time and only move on when the first one is actually being used every week. Each agent is written against your document types and your house style, and each one produces a structured output a professional can review in seconds.
Contract Review
Runs a defined checklist over NDAs, MSAs and vendor agreements. Returns clause-by-clause findings, a risk rating per finding, the exact quoted text it relied on, and a suggested redline position.
Out: a review memo in your template. Never a legal opinion.
Client Intelligence
Assembles a pre-meeting brief on a company: what it does, how it is structured, recent public developments, the likely pressure points, and three questions worth asking in the room.
Out: a one-page brief with sources cited for every claim.
Tax Research
Answers a defined tax question against a controlled corpus of primary sources and produces a structured research memo with authority references.
Out: a memo skeleton your reviewer fills in and signs. Not tax advice until a human says so.
How it works
A two-week proof, then a decision.
We do not ask a firm to believe a demo. We ask for a sample of the real documents that already cross the desk, and we are measured on those.
Scoping call — 30 minutes
You tell us which workflow is genuinely painful and who does it today. If the answer is "none of them", we say so and end the call.
Sample review — one week
You send 10 to 20 anonymised documents of a type you handle often. We run the agent and return its output alongside what your team produced, so the comparison is the evidence.
Pilot — four weeks, fixed fee
The agent runs inside your workflow for one real month, against real volume. We report accuracy, time saved and where it failed.
Monthly service
If the pilot held up, we move to a monthly fee with a volume ceiling and a named person on our side who answers within a business day.
Scope and pricing
Fixed scope. Fixed fee. No per-token invoicing.
Model costs are our problem, not yours. You are buying a completed workflow with a volume ceiling, not a meter. Prices below are the standard list; a single-agent engagement is what most firms start with.
Pilot
$3,500 / one month
One agent, one workflow, real volume.
- One agent configured to your documents
- Up to 100 document runs in the month
- Accuracy and time-saved report at the end
- Weekly check-in with the engineer
- Credited against the first month of service if you continue
Monthly service
$2,500 / month
One agent, ongoing. Volume ceiling stated in the agreement.
- Up to 250 document runs per month
- Updates when a document type or checklist changes
- Named contact, one business day response
- Monthly accuracy and usage report
- Additional agents at $1,500/month each
Larger volumes, multiple offices and custom integrations are quoted per engagement. Fees exclude applicable taxes. No fee is invoiced before a written agreement is signed.
How we handle your documents
Confidentiality is the product requirement, not a policy page.
Professional firms cannot experiment carelessly with client material. These are the commitments we hold to, and they are written into the service agreement.
Your data stays in your lane
Documents are processed for the workflow you engaged us for. They are not used to train models, ours or a provider's, and they are not shared between client accounts.
Human sign-off is mandatory
Every agent output is labelled as a draft prepared for professional review. No output is sent, filed or relied on without a qualified person approving it.
Supported or escalated, never guessed
Where the agent cannot ground a finding in the documents it was given, it says so and flags it for a human rather than filling the gap.
Retention you control
Retention period is agreed at signing. On request, documents and derived outputs are deleted from the working environment and confirmed in writing.
Questions we get asked
Before you book a call
Does the agent replace our professionals?
No, and the product is designed so it cannot. The agent produces a structured first pass — findings, quotes and a suggested position — and a qualified person reviews, edits and signs. What changes is how the first hour of a review task is spent.
What if it gets something wrong?
It will, on some documents, and we would rather you know that from us than discover it. Every finding carries the quoted text it relied on so a reviewer can check the reasoning in seconds. The pilot month exists specifically to measure the error rate on your own document types before you commit to anything ongoing.
Where do the documents live?
In an environment dedicated to your firm, separate from other clients. We can also run inside your own cloud tenancy for firms whose policy requires it — that is quoted separately because it takes longer to set up.
Do we need to change our systems?
No. The agents take documents in the formats you already receive and return output as a document and an email. Deeper integration into a DMS or practice management system comes later, once the workflow is proven worth integrating.
How is this different from the AI features in our existing software?
Those are general-purpose assistants inside a product built for something else. These are agents written against one workflow, one document type and one output format, deployed for one firm, and measured on your documents. The narrowness is the point.
What does onboarding actually require from us?
Two things: a set of anonymised sample documents, and one person — usually whoever owns the workflow — for about two hours in the first week. Everything else is on our side.
Send us one document type and see what comes back.
The fastest way to evaluate this is not a demo. Send 10 anonymised documents of a type you handle weekly, and we will return the agent's output next to your team's. No cost, no obligation, and we will tell you plainly if it is not worth pursuing.
